[Material] Dr. Plastic Molding Rheology Course Basic Edition 01

Introducing how to understand the physical properties of materials in order to stabilize moldability!

This document contains professional viscosity measurements (regarding viscosity and flowability predictions) that stabilize molding. It provides information on "Melt Indexer (MFR)" which helps understand viscosity, and "Capillary Rheometer" which explains viscosity curves. The material is presented in an easy-to-understand lecture format, so please take a moment to read it. 【Contents (excerpt)】 ■ What is simulation software? ■ What can be understood from "viscosity" and "flowability predictions"? ■ Summary *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Resin Molding and Rheology, 19th Session: "Measurement Methods and Examples of Extensional Viscosity"

If the rotation speed of the roll is N, the rotational velocity v is given by the following formula! Introducing the measurement principle of uniaxial elongational viscosity, etc.!

In this column, we will introduce "Measurement Methods and Examples of Extensional Viscosity." The method that was considered the earliest is the uniaxial tensile method known as the Meiβner method. Although there are various methods that have replaced this one today, it is easier to explain the principle, so we will use the Meiβner method as an example here. Please take a moment to read it. 【Contents】 ■Principle of Uniaxial Extensional Viscosity Measurement ■Examples of Uniaxial Extensional Viscosity Measurement *For detailed content of the column, you can view it through the related links. [Measurement Example] Stability Test of Coffee Creamer by Dynamic Viscoelastic Measurement

This is an image of a stability test for coffee fresh (creamy portion) using dynamic viscoelasticity measurement.

• It has been found that the elastic modulus G' of the spherical sample increases over time. • This indicates the potential for use in product stability testing. * Note that the measured strain amount is small at 1% due to the subsequent strain dependence. * For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Glass Testing Machine Wide Range Viscosity Measurement Device High Temperature Atmosphere Type WRVM-313HA

Extensive glass viscosity measurement in a high-temperature atmosphere.

This device measures viscosity in a vacuum, in a gas atmosphere, and at high temperatures. Viscosity measurement involves measuring the deformation speed of the sample and the shear rate; however, conventional sensor heads require detection rods and rotating shafts to be non-contact with the structure, which makes it impossible to achieve a complete seal, resulting in measurements being conducted in a flowing gas atmosphere. This device adopts an indentation, parallel plate, and rotational method, allowing for a smaller sample shape and a more compact measurement sensor section, making it possible to house the entire measurement mechanism, including the electric furnace, within a vacuum cell.
